About the ASPCA

- Veterinary Technicians: A veterinary technician differs from an animal care technician. Veterinary technicians hold a high school diploma and receive advanced veterinary training in veterinary medicine at a 2 to 4 year college. You must have a New York State Veterinary Technician License to work as a veterinary technician at the ASPCA.
